Organ Donations in Spain

Really good news from the Organización Nacional de Transplantes (National Transplant Organization). Spain is the world leader in donations and 1 of every 5 organ donations in Europe comes from Spain. The ratio in Spain is 35.1 donors for every million people, while the ratio in Europe is 18.8 donors for every million people (almost two times higher!). Sometimes we don’t realize how good health benefits and services are in Spain. In the last study the World Health Organization did, Spain is ranked 6th, which is a wonderful rank. Keep donating!
