Yesterday was Saint George Day. Saint George was the Saint who killed the Dragon and he was a soldier of the Roman Empire, from Turkey, who was venerated as a Christian martyr. This is a pretty big day in Spain, specially in Aragon (it is a bank holiday) and Catalonia, the region of Barcelona, where it is a tradition to give a rose and a book to the loved one. Well, so above all that, it was my mom's bday and my brother's saint day (his name is Jordi, catalan version of George). I hope that all the Georges, Jorges, Jordis, Georgs and Giorgios had a great day.
