Movie Weekend

I have never seen so many films in a weekend. These are all the films, with a short description/critic:

- Alatriste (Spain): Viggo Mortensen plays the Spanish soldier-turned-mercenary Captain Alatriste, a heroic figure from the country's 17th century imperial wars. Not a bad movie, really good setting and cast, but not as good as the books by Arturo Pérez-Reverte.

- Scary movie 4 (USA): Cindy finds out the house she lives in is haunted by a little boy and goes on a quest to find out who killed him and why. Also, Alien "Tr-iPods" are invading the world and she has to uncover the secret in order to stop them. The worst movie we have seen so far this year hahaha. It parodies The War of the Worlds, which was last year’s worst movie!

- Naked Weapons (China): Like a contagious virus, pretty and athletic girls in their teens start disappearing around the globe one after another. The mastermind behind these abductions is Madame M, who plans to train these girls into professional killers. I think that besides having a horrible plot, it wasn’t the worst movie seen this weekend. We laughed so much!

- Perros callejeros (Spain): A movie about juvenile delinquency and drugs in Barcelona during the 70’s. Great story and characters. Could be one of the best of the weekend.

- Scarface (USA): Remake of the 1932 film, which follows the rise of Tony Montana, a Cuban emigre who, with his friend Manny Ray, builds a strong criminal empire in early 1980's Miami. I couldn’t see it all, because I fall sleep before it ended. But the part I saw left me with a great impression.

Ranking:
1st Naked Weapons
2nd Perros Callejeros
3rd Scarface
4th Alatriste
5th Scary Movie 4
