Today is our birthday. It is the birthday of one of the biggest and more active community on the Internet. On the 15th of January 2001 Jimbo Wales started the English version of Wikipedia, and two months later we had the Catalan version (which was the second one to have an article) and the German version. Nowadays there are 236 active editions, including languages such as Volapük, Simple English, Esperanto, Cherokee and all the Spanish languages: Spanish, Aragonese, Asturian, Basque, Catalan and Galician.
