Night out at Madrid's horse racetrack

Last night we spent the night at Madrid's horse racetrack, the Hipódromo de la Zarzuela. After several years of being closed due to a fiscal shakeup and renovations to its racetrack, it opened again 2 years ago, and it has become one of the hotspots of Madrid's night life.

Moreover, on Thursday evenings there are night races, and it is great spending some money on a horse and a jockey you have never heard of (which is the case of all the jockeys hahaha). Unfortunately, last night we got to the Hipódromo de Madrid when the races where over, but that is when the party starts. It was Luis, Tere, Aroa, Laura and I, and thanks to Laura we got in the Hipódromo for free. She knew this weird guy from the internet and he works at the Hipódromo, so don't avoid all those weirdos from the internet: they may get you into the clubs for free hahaha.

Once inside we tried to get our drinks (I wasn't drinking since I was driving but I was getting Luis' drinks 'cause he wasn't feeling well) which was kind of Mission Impossible IV. The place was nice, too packed for my taste and lots of guapos and guapas from Madrid. If you want to spent a great night sorrounded by Madrid's poshest society, go to the Hipódromo.
